A couple of days ago, I was added to the subreddit moderation team. I wanted to first do some maintenance behind the scenes before I announced it (and avoid poor April Fool's timing).Seasons 1-4 are a completely different show than seasons 5-8. You're right about the lighting. Season 1 had a different Director of Photography than seasons 2-4, which is why season 1 feels so different. It's dark and moody. I just rewatched this episode and the way Piper and Phoebe treat Paige really pisses me off. Paige got burned by acid, possessed, driven mad, almost dies and Piper knocks her out with a candlestick. And then after she loses like a week's worth of memories Phoebe is a massive bitch to her because Phoebe found out Paige ...It's not just the theme song. A lot of the songs featured in the shows aren't the same as the originally aired songs. It has to do with licensing, they had the rights to air it on tv and repeats which is why if you catch it on tv the songs are the original songs but they didn't have the rights when it came to VHS or DVD or streaming because when the shows were made those weren't ...Zankou is overall the best.
